Effective Assertiveness Practices

The stressful demands of today’s highly competitive business culture regularly create opportunities for misunderstanding, conflict and failed lines of communication. The anger associated with such breakdowns can spiral out of control to cause a variety of problems within your team. The best defense a manager and a team have against these threats is to thoroughly understand and regularly practice proven assertiveness skills.

Baker Communications has created a powerful one-day Effective Assertiveness Practices workshop to give you and your team the ability to communicate effectively and work through difficult issues in an atmosphere of collaboration and respect. Under the guidance of our professional assertiveness trainers, you will learn how to say how you really feel and ask for what you really need in a way that protects your own sense of self-worth without threatening or disrespecting others. This highly practice driven workshop uses a variety of interactive exercises and activities to help you refine your new assertiveness skills so that you can use them with confidence in any situation.

On-Site Training: can be tailored to the needs of client organization and delivered on-site at time and location of client choice.
