TriMas Announces 2006 Business Unit Achievement Awards

TriMas Corporation is a performance driven organization. We have a clear and focused vision that drives every product we manufacture. It is in this spirit the TriMas Business Unit Leadership Achievement Awards program was established to recognize the significant efforts made and results obtained by our individual business units.

We are pleased to award distinction to the following business units for their remarkable performance in 2006:

Outstanding Achievement in People Development

Lamons Gasket Company has once again proved to be the leader in our people development category. In 2006, Lamons developed a web-based employee satisfaction survey in three languages to keep communication lines open, they partnered with Houston Community College and Baker Communications to seek continuing education and training for their employees, as well as implemented a compensation plan linked to achievement of company goals for the hourly workforce. Lamons also developed a Hurricane Disaster Preparedness plan to keep employees safe and the plant in working order should an emergency occur in the future.
