One Day Business Writing Workshop

The typical business executive or professional spends approximately 20 percent of their time writing. Yet, writing is a skill few seek to improve once they enter the business world. The Effective Business Writing seminar is designed with individual contributors, staff assistants, team leaders, supervisors, managers and executives in mind. Anyone who wishes to create more professional, effective written communications will benefit greatly from this course, as will those who desire to boost productivity and improve the impact of their writing on clients and coworkers.

This highly interactive one-day workshop is designed to help the business communicator improve writing skills such as preparation, organization, understanding the needs of the reader, avoiding common grammar and spelling mistakes, and basic editing.

Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to work on documents they have developed or will need to develop for real world business purposes.

On-Site Training: can be tailored to the needs of client organization and delivered on-site at time and location of client choice.

Business Writing Feedback:

"I got a lot out of the business writing workshop. It was well worth it, and I now have some useful information on how to improve my writing. I also appreciate all the time the instructor spent with me to review individual writing samples. She answered all my questions and showed no sign that of a rush to leave once the rest of the group finished. Thank you for your flexibility in switching my dates for the workshop. I will keep Baker Communications in mind for future professional development opportunities."
