Exceptional Q&A Skills Workshop

One of the most often overlooked opportunities available to a presenter for enhancing the impact of a presentation occurs during the Q&A session. Even though it may appear that the most important part of the presentation is over, a capable, effective presenter will be able to take advantage of this less structured time to drive home, yet again, the presentation’s most compelling message.

Our two-hour Exceptional Q&A Skills presentation training workshop has been created to help you use Q&A sessions to gain an extra advantage for your presentation. For many presenters, the Q&A session is only a perfunctory wrap up – something to be rushed through as quickly as possible. However, our professional presentation coaches will show you how to use this bonus time to reinforce key ideas and deepen your audience’s interest in the ideas you intend to convey. You will receive personal feedback from the instructors as you work through a series of digital video recorded exercises and activities, which will enhance your skill at handling all types of situations that arise during Q&A sessions.

On-Site Training: can be tailored to the needs of client organization and delivered on-site at time and location of client choice.

Objectives:

Participants in the two-hour Exceptional Q&A Skills presentation class will gain hands on practice and experience in:

  • How to stay on message during Q&A sessions.
  • The best way to open a Q&A session.
  • Techniques for maintaining poise in body language, gestures and tone of voice during sometimes stressful Q&A exchanges.
  • Four strategies for addressing objections from the audience.
  • An effective way to prepare your audience to participate in Q&A sessions.
