Job Opening: Territory Manager
Baker Communications is a Corporate Training
and Consulting company. Our offerings include the
development and delivery of many corporate training courses,
and sales process consulting. Each territory receives
web-based leads daily. We are looking for Territory Managers
that can quickly respond to incoming leads; in addition,
mining into our existing data base daily. The two primary
objectives of this position are to develop and close new
business relationships while penetrating all new and
existing accounts- ultimately creating Strategic Accounts.
Compensation for this position is highly dependent on
individual performance. 75K (minimum) is possible within the
first year, 200K+ the second year. All applicants should
live in Houston, Texas and be used to inside sales.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responds to assigned leads within 4 hours if possible,
but not later then the same day

Dials a minimum of 300 calls per week

Develops and actively manages a pipeline of 250-500
prospects, of which 150-400 develop into repeat customers

Applies effective prospecting and sales methodologies in
identifying and “connecting” with prospective users of
our services

Achieves sales goals primarily through effective
telephone use
-
Acquires an active group of client accounts loyal to BCI;
proactively discusses with management any problems with
prospects or client accounts as well as the proposed
strategies to eliminate barriers to loyalty and retention

Stays informed on all training services competition
within the local and national marketplace
-
Serves as an active and constructive member of the sales
team and actively participates in team meetings and
training sessions

Embraces BCI’s business, ethics and customer service
process, and makes them a part of everyday routine
-
Actively participates in community or business
organizations to enhance the sales effort and for personal
professional development

Performs other duties as assigned to achieve company
objectives
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Telephone-based sales experience
-
PC skills (word processing and Excel spreadsheet)

Salesforce.com experience preferred but not required
-
Education sales experience preferred but not required
