Baker Communications Builds Conflict Management Training Workshop for Apple Computer

One of the world’s foremost producers of cutting-edge consumer technology, Apple Computer, has signed Baker Communications to design Conflict Management training for their Information Services and Technology group. Apple had previously partnered with Baker for other training needs and was quick to return to the industry experts when a new need arose. They requested that Baker build a custom Conflict Management workshop to fit their unique needs; one that would address internal and cultural challenges. Baker Communications was ready and able to design the course that Apple needed.

A Senior-Level Instructor and Conflict Management Expert from Baker Communications will travel to Cupertino, California to train and coach Apple’s IS&T group. Participants in this highly interactive sales training event will gain experience with fundamental conflict management skills such as identifying others’ Behavioral Styles and learning how best to respond to their anger. Throughout the workshop, attendees will learn and practice powerful conflict management tools such as the LISTEN model for active listening, and the 3 Fs process for defusing tension and refocusing the conversation on constructive solutions.
