Baker Communications Delivers Purchasing Agent Negotiations Training for Petrobras America, Inc.
Petrobras America, Inc. a division of Petroleo Brasiliero S.A., the world’s eighth largest oil company, has signed Baker Communications to design specialized negotiations training for its purchasing team. The company sought a uniquely targeted program to improve the negotiations skills of its purchasing agents. After a consultation and assessment with Baker’s training experts, Petrobras determined that the purchasing department would benefit from Baker’s knowledge of the energy industry, and that Baker’s client-centered approach would enable them to design a customized negotiations workshop to address the needs of their agents.
A Senior-Level Instructor and Negotiations Expert from Baker Communications will meet with Petrobras America’s purchasing team in Houston, Texas to train and coach their agents. Participants in this highly interactive training event will gain expertise with fundamental concepts such as an understanding of the four Behavioral Types, in order to more smoothly and effectively communicate with partners. The purchasing team will also learn powerful strategies to improve their tactical skills and to neutralize manipulative tactics, helping to ensure that their negotiations conclude with mutually beneficial, “Win-Win” solutions, and cementing positive relationships with their partners.
