Baker Communications Rolls Out Win-Win Negotiations Training For Great Lakes Bank

Great Lakes Bank, "Chicago’s Bank of Choice," has asked Baker Communications to deliver Win-Win Negotiations training to their commercial sales team. Great Lakes Bank was seeking negotiations training to help their sales team keep pace with increasing competition in commercial banking, where consumers have a wider range of options than ever. Great Lakes chose Baker Communications because they appreciated Baker’s customer-oriented service approach and felt that Baker’s unique Win-Win Negotiations Workshop would help them perform negotiations in a way that would build long-term relationships while also protecting their bottom line.


A Baker Communications Senior Level Instructor and Win-Win Negotiations expert will meet with Great Lakes Bank team members in Chicago.
Participants in this intensive, highly interactive negotiations training workshop will learn the difference between Positional and Principled Negotiation, and why it is important to work toward win-win solutions to preserve long-term relationships. Attendees will also learn and practice key negotiations skills such as recognizing and neutralizing negotiation tactics, de-escalating conflict, and how to identify and apply concession strategies, in order to maintain a collaborative focus during the negotiation and help both sides walk away from the negotiation feeling satisfied with the outcome.
