Baker Communications has contracted with Advent Software to provide Win-Win Negotiations and Presentations training to their Sales and Sales Engineering groups. Advent has worked with Baker in the past, and chose them to present multiple courses in accordance with the need to centralize their training with a trusted training partner. Baker’s Effective Presentations and Win-Win Negotiations workshops will be customized to meet Advent’s scheduling needs and to align with existing corporate processes.
Senior-Level Instructors and Presentations Experts from Baker Communications will travel to San Francisco to train Advent sales representatives and sales engineers. These custom half-day sessions will polish participants’ presentation skills in preparation for a users’ conference. Workshop participants will practice important presentation techniques to enhance their delivery, including proper speaking posture and body language and the "4 P’s" of vocalization – projection, pitch, pacing, and pauses. They will also learn and practice essential public speaking techniques for combating nervousness and ensuring an engaging, professional presentation.
A Baker Win-Win Negotiations Senior Level Training Instructor will travel to Advent’s sales conference in Las Vegas to present customized Win-Win Negotiations training. This custom program is designed to align and coordinate with Advent’s existing sales processes. Attendees will enhance their negotiation skills by learning methods for handling offers, requests for concessions, and manipulative tactics. Participants will come to understand the importance of principled negotiations to long-term business relationships.
