Holly Clayville, Senior Consultant
Holly has over 12 years of marketing and
marketing management experience in the airline and
telecommunications industries, and over 2 years
experience in the professional education field.
Prior to joining Baker Communications, Holly was an
instructor for Microcomputer Education Center. Holly’s
responsibilities included instruction in the Microsoft
Office suite of products, Goldmine and various other
software applications. Prior to Microcomputer
Education Center, Holly was the Manager of Loyalty
Card Programs for Qantas Airways Limited. Holly’s
individual highlights at Qantas include:

Grew loyalty credit card business from a two
card portfolio with revenue of $25 million dollars
to a seven card portfolio with revenue of $70
million dollars.

Responsible for all contract negotiations and
card program management, including exceeding card
acquisition and retention targets.

Developed the Qantas Telstra Visa card into the
most successful loyalty credit card in Australia
and launched the card in New Zealand.

Member of a select team responsible for the
competitive realignment of the Qantas Frequent
Flyer Program. Program changes provided an annual
revenue benefit of $12 million dollars.
Prior to Qantas Airways, Holly was a Senior
Analyst at American Airlines in the Marketing
Planning and Pricing and Yield Management
departments. Holly’s individual highlights at
American Airlines include:

Analyzed the value of new airline partners to
the AADVANTAGE frequent flyer program and
negotiated frequent flyer partnership terms with
new airline partners. Annual contribution of new
airline partnerships was in excess of $10 million
dollars.

Cross-functional team lead on several AADVANTAGE
program market analyses. Annual savings of
AADVANTAGE program changes was in excess of $8
million dollars.

Responsible for pricing and yield management
strategy for five American Eagle hubs. Developed
and implemented strategic initiatives to improve
revenue performance, which contributed to a year
over year revenue gain of 75%.
Prior to American Airlines, Holly held several
marketing positions for GTE. She developed and managed
nationwide marketing programs for GTE’s custom
calling services. Additional responsibilities included
managing the production and presentation of GTE’s
sales kickoff meetings, held in various locations
nationwide.
Holly is a graduate of the University
of California, at Berkeley, with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business Administration. She is
also a graduate of the University of Texas, at
Austin, with a Masters in Business Administration.
Holly is married with three young children. She is
also involved in Masters Swimming and competes
regularly in Masters event.
