Karen Pfeiffer, Senior
Trainer
Karen has worked for Baker
Communications for the past eight years. Karen
regularly interfaces with senior executives,
mid-managers and support staff in the design and
training of their personnel. As a Consultant/Trainer
at Baker, she works closely with major companies such
as British Petroleum, Amoco, Solvay Polymers, BMC
Software and Advanced Micro Devices.
Karen's specialties include the design of Executive
leadership training, communication building,
presentation skills, value selling, negotiations and
Train-the-Trainer. Prior to beginning her career at Baker,
Karen was instrumental in the design and delivery of
various programs connected with Dale Carnegie
Training. As a Training Consultant, she was
instrumental in tailoring and writing programs in the
areas of Change Management, Customer Service,
Value-Added Selling, and Facilitation Skills.
Karen is a graduate of the University of Texas at
Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum
Engineering. Upon graduation, Karen spent four years
as a field training engineer for Dowell-Schlumberger.
She is active in community theater around the Houston
area and is a member of the Houston Choral Society and
the Gilbert & Sullivan Society.
