Larry Gilbert, Senior Trainert
Larry entered the natural gas business in 1981, with Northern
Natural Gas Company, a subsidiary of Enron Corp. Over his 15
year career with Enron, Larry held various managerial and
officer positions with Northern Natural Gas Company,
Transwestern Pipeline Company, Enron Transportation Company,
Hobbs Gas Processing Company, Enron Field Services and Enron
Liquid Fuels Company. His primary area of responsibility
included natural gas marketing and sales, business
development, transportation, gas processing,
production/gathering and acquisitions/divestitures.
Larry's individual highlights while at Enron include:

Directly responsible for negotiating the acquisition end
divestiture of over $115 million of pipeline and
processing plant assets.

Negotiated various expansions of regulated (interstate
pipelines) and non-regulated (gathering and processing)
systems.

Successfully settled pending litigation for the company.

Directed various marketing, transportation and sales
teams.

Speaker at numerous gas and energy related conferences
and seminars.
In 1995, Larry formed Gilbert Energy Consulting Inc. The
company provides marketing, sales, business development and
environmental expertise to various companies in the energy
industry. He is also the co-founder of Renovar Energy Corp.
which specializes in the development of renewable energy, and
electric power projects.
Larry currently sits on various non-profit boards and has

Larry graduated from Houston Baptist University majoring in
Finance and Business Administration. He is married and has
four young boys. He also coaches youth basketball, soccer and
baseball and is active in YMCA Indian Guides.
