As founder or principal officer of several different
companies, Mike has presided over significant market growth
for his firms, generating bottom-line profitability and
closing high-dollar transactions. Keys to his success
include entrepreneurial drive, a high level of motivation,
ability to sell at all levels, solution-orientation and
ability to identify and recruit high-performance team
members. He has directed regional sales management teams
covering major U.S. markets, personally negotiating, closing
and directing hundreds of consulting projects for small,
emerging companies to Fortune 10 companies. His staff
development expertise extends from identifying the right
candidates to training and retaining key contributors at all
levels.
As the Chief Operating Officer for a national
technology-consulting firm, Mike was responsible for overall
profit and loss throughout multiple offices, directing a
profit improvement drive, raising productivity and
establishing consistent products, processes and quality
controls across the organization. After negotiating the sale
of that privately-held company, Mike began a winning
business and entrepreneur consulting practice, providing
executive level business strategies targeted to business
growth, increased sales and improved profit for start-ups to
mid-size businesses.
Mike and his wife Carol live on a small ranch west of
Houston, Texas where he has a few longhorn cows. Mike also
raises Quarter Horses and competes in National Cutting Horse
Association events.
