Sarah is Director of Operations and General Legal Counsel for Baker Communications, and President of SMC Interiors. Prior to founding SMC Interiors, Sarah was Director of Operations for CertiSource, a software and services company, which she co-founded in 1997. She stayed with CertiSource until its sale to VerticalNet in 1999. This venture was cash flow positive and profitable within the first quarter of operations.

Prior to her role at CertiSource, Sarah graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in May of 1996. During her years in law school, she hosted Texas Justice, a legal show produced and aired on Eaglevision, a Houston-based cable company. She also interned for State Judge William Bell.

Sarah is a 1992 graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in English and Psychology and a 1987 Graduate of The Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, Connecticut. She is active in community fundraising and is a Junior Patron of the Houston Grand Opera, as well as The Houston Symphony.
