Negotiations focuses on developing
and understanding the negotiation skills
that are essential in today's trading
room environment. This workshop helps
participants become aware of typical
negotiation tactics used by trading
partners, as well as helping them gain
insights regarding their own tactics.
Participants will also learn the
importance of understanding the
behavioral style of the partners they
are trading with and what methods of
approach and negotiation work best with
each style. Significant emphasis is
placed on the trading room negotiation
process and the importance of
preparation for negotiations.
Using extensive,
real-life role plays to simulate
current-day situations experienced by
buyers, sellers and transportation
personnel working for your company, this
two-day Trading Room Negotiations
workshop makes use of videotape and
one-on-one personal feedback to improve
participants’ ability to communicate in
various types of negotiations. By the
end of day one, participants will be
able to handle even the most difficult
negotiations with confidence and walk
away with more favorable outcomes.
