I had assumed this would be a lecture type setting on customer service, but I was pleasantly surprised. The instructor was friendly and did a great job showing customer service to us as he spoke and interacted with us. Great discussions and group participation!
The instructor's ability to capture the attention of the participants and keep them engaged throughout the session was amazing given we had six participants via phone conference. Everyone of my team members expectations were exceeded following this training.
It was a pleasure meeting the instructor; he was very enthusiastic and welcoming. He not only related the exceptional customer service course to the job but also to everyday life. Explained various methods and skills to deliver exceptional customer service.
A lot of people try to separate work and home life, but this class definitely helped to point out how the sitautions we're placed in and how we respond to them in either setting can positively or negatively affect the way we interact in the other setting.
The instructor was an excellent trainer. He encouraged us to think of our own scenarios to improve on. We were encouraged to work as a team and identify each individual needs to grow as a unit. This training was far from what I imagined, I learned a lot.
I realize that even though I am a "doer" I contribute an important part to my team. I learned how to engage with others that do not have my style. It helped me understand them better and what is needed to develop all of us as a team and customer service.
I thought this training was amazing! The instructor did such a great job making us feel comfortable during the activities. It was fun to participate and even more fun to learn the techniques. I will be a better CSR because of the instructor training.
The instructor was great - really excellent and engaging speaker. The conversation seemed to turn more to personal relationship issues than business issues, which was more a product of the comments from our staff. We didn't do activities, thus the 5.
The instructor is a talented presenter and exceeded my expectations. I will be sharing my expierence with all of my co-managers and will be promoting Baker Communications within IPG. I hope that there are future oportunities for us to work together.
The instructor was very knowledgeable of the course and is a people person. She interacted with the people in class and went over the materials at a good pace for everyone and took the time to understand and explain further what we were discussing.
I loved the way the instructor was connectiing with me and the rest of Celestron's employees, it made me feel as if he enjoying the training and was really being true in trying to teach us knowledge rather than just trying to get the day over with.
I really enjoyed the course. The instructor is a very personable teacher using day to day scenarios. Information will be used with ease. It wasn't overwhelming. Very simple and elementary. Common sense which I don't think people think about today.

I had a great time and really enjoyed the class! The first half was the best part... the psychology aspect of the class was really beneficial. The ending role play was a little weird, but had I understood it, it would have also been very helpful.
First, I would like to say that the instructor had the group engaged from the very moment that he stepped in front of us. His presentation was the perfect mix of a serious business based message, along with an entertaining and engaging delivery.
The class was incredibly value. I think most people--myself included--take customer service for granted. We live and die by cliches and things we think we're doing correctly. The course opened up my eyes to ways to do what I'm doing, but better.
This course was well managed and helpful with insight for managing difficult communications with people who have a personality different from mine. It gave thoughtful suggestions for better communications and the exercises were fun and engaging.
The instructor kept the class interesting by providing several examples. The role playing was exceptional and made you think about how to respond to a situation. Take time to listen before responding is my overall take away from this workshop.
I attended tjhe Exceptional Customer Service on August 24, 2013. I was very impressed with the course content and knowledge the course instructor had about the subjects in question. I think I came out a better opted to handle customers' needs.
This class is great because it made me realize that my customer service style caters mostly to people of similar behavioral styles as me. So while I might be giving some patients a great customer service experiance, thats not the same for all.
The instructor was really great! She has an approachable style and manages the flow and engagement really well. Overall I liked the course but felt that is was a little slow in places and could have condensed some to make it shorter sessions.
I thought the course had valuable content and that the faciliator was great! Would love to see more Baker Communication workshops. Recommend more customer service scenarios from an employee to an employee versus employee to external customer.
I think the topics and themes covered over the course of the training truly pour into whomever take the course. It is an excellent way add value to your workforce. This is done by giving individuals tools to use with each other and customers.
The instructor-Was an absolute delight! He shared so much useful information. Never a dull moment while in the class. I hope to be able to take part in another one of his training class oneday. He made such an everlasting imperession. Thanks
The instructor made the class interesting. Learning how to recognize the different "types" of customers and how to effectively deal with them based on their personality type was informative and is something that I will definately put to use.
This class was able to easily see were changes could be made to your day to day routine to better manage our customer base. And how to better mantain yourself when dealing with conflicting personalities both with customer's and co-workers.

Learning to understand the different personality types helped me better uderstand how to approach woking with each type. This will help me to better serve each customer instead of irritating or antogonizing them unintentionally.
I believe the course offered a great deal of insight to those in the retail business. Much of what was discussed was common sense but the information given on the actual APPLICATION of the "common sense" was largely beneficial.

Having been in Customer Service/Commissioned Sales positions I have learned a lot of this information, but was amazed at how much I had forgotten. This course was a fantastic refresher/reinforcement for me.
The instructor was a good presenter and he provided some good information. We had a challenging set up and I think our group could do more with a few more participant interactions by EVERYONE in our group.
I found the instructor to be an excellent presenter and the content of the program to be excellent. I've had customer service trainings before but this training was by far the best I've every experienced.
Class was very good. I am not is sales and thought it would be very sales orientated, although was a lot to do with sales i managed to take a lot from the course and would definitely recommend to anyone.

This was a very insightful course that blended psychology with office culture, helping figure out the root causes of why people do what they do, and how teams can work better together
I was pleasantly surprized by the training. It was different than any of the other customer service traings I had been to before. It dealt with real situations in a practical manner.

I have been in som trainings before but none wera as dynamic and envolving as this one. I do recomend this one!
This was by far the most entertaining and instructional customer service training that has been offered at IPG.
I will do a better job to make everyone I come in contact with feel important & do what I can to help them out.
I have never had a behavioural assessment match me so perfectly. I learnt a lot about myself and my co-workers.
