Immediate opening Partner Sales AE :
The Partner Sales AE is a quota carrying position with a primary responsible for selling Baker Communications products and services through and alongside our strategic partner organizations. You will be responsible for day-to-day partner relationships, supporting the partner to align BCI product features with business benefits and outcomes and configuring solutions for end user clients. You will be the primary point of contact for all BCI related sales engagements where our partners are going to market without the aid of a BCI Seller. You will identify and qualify sales opportunities for partner sellers and assist in securing and running meetings for partner sellers. This role leverages functionality such as lead and opportunity management, and deal registration to maximize sales productivity. Success will be measured by the volume of deals sold through the BCI and Partner channel on specific product types.
WHAT THE POSITION WILL DO:
The primary mission of this role is to provide the needed sales support to partner sales and marketing teams, as well as revenue teams, throughout the entire buyer's journey.
To complete this mission, you will closely collaborate with marketing, revenue, and sales reps, as well as other key stakeholders to maximize business outcomes across all stages of the sales cycle.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Develop and close business opportunities with partner sellers
- Understand customer technical requirements and work with partner and customers to align BCI solutions to desired outcomes
- Ensure that the sales pipeline remains full of qualified leads and prospects
- Visit our partner and partner customers when appropriate
- Plan, implement and control the entire sales process, sales targets, tactics, and strategies
- Take responsibility for achieving business results and set sales targets
- Implement marketing plans and programs in support of business plan/objectives
- Understand the competition in target markets and monitor competitive activities
- Maintain KPI's by monitoring sales performance and statistical reports
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team
- Build credibility and trusting relationships both internally and externally.
- Track, report and help close Partner generated pipeline
- Hold regular lunch and learn sessions, open office hours, etc… for our Partner's sales force
Role Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years inside or outside sales related experience in a B2B environment
- Experience in solution selling
- Proficient in MS Office tools or equivalent - Outlook, Word and Excel and CRM
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with customers and to work within a team
- Excellent organization skills - ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Customer focused and service mindset
- Solutions oriented with good problem-solving skills
- Professional approach in all aspects of working with customers, channel partners and colleagues
- Flexible approach to working in an organization where additional tasks outside of normal responsibilities may be required to support the overall business.
- Measurable accomplishments in making a positive business impact (e.g. proven experience in meeting quotas, improving sales cycle, etc.)

Good-to-Have skills:
- An understanding of Learning and Development/ Sales Training
- An understanding of strategies for business growth, as well as standard KPIs.
- An understanding of quantitative and qualitative data, the reasons for both, and how each should be properly leveraged.
- Familiarity in bringing together sales and marketing teams
- Previous experience in a similar industry
