EDP Renewables, a global leader in the renewable energy sector, has asked Baker Communications to deliver customized coaching training for its managers and team members. EDPR uses a non-traditional management structure, and was seeking skills training for its supervisors and other staff to help them manage and coach up, down, and across the organization to promote constructive communication and teamwork. Baker worked closely with EDPR to develop a curriculum that would meet their needs.

A Coaching Skills Expert and Baker Communications Senior Level Instructor will deliver the workshop for EDPR employees and supervisors. Participants will gain insight into understanding the motivational needs and personal behavioral styles of others, which will help them better communicate with and motivate their teams and colleagues. They will also learn to use the SMART Coaching model for formal and informal coaching meetings, which will provide a structure and process for assessing the situation, exploring options for action, and planning implementation.
