Fugro, an international geotechnical, survey and geological services company, has asked Baker Communications to deliver Listening Skills training to their department and team managers. Fugro was looking for a workshop that would focus on the need to perform vigorous and careful screening of potential employees. Their management groups needed tools and skills to assist in securing individuals who would effectively contribute to the company. They requested that Baker create and deliver a customized Interviewing Skills training course targeted to benefit their management groups’ interviewing and hiring process skills.


An Interviewing Skills Training Expert and Senior Level Instructor with Baker Communications will meet with Fugro managers in Houston to deliver the seminar. Participants in this intensive interviewing skills training workshop will learn about key principles of effective interpersonal communication and techniques for improving their questioning techniques and their listening skills. Managers will have the opportunity to assess their own personality type and learn to assess that of others, helping them to understand and communicate more effectively with prospective employees during the screening process.
Practice with essentials such as active listening, effective questioning, and confirming understanding will equip attendees with the tools necessary to improve their interviewing skills and the effectiveness of the hiring process.
