Baker Communications has contracted with MacDougalls Cape Cod Marine Service, Cape Cods largest full-service yacht repair and marina facility, to provide interactive training workshops in multiple subject areas, to include time management, customer service, management, team building and leadership training. MacDougalls has partnered with Baker previously for time management and negotiations training, and appreciated Bakers interactive training style and quality content. When new training needs became apparent, Baker Communications interactive format and wide range of offerings again made them the ideal match. MacDougalls selected Bakers industry-leading Exceptional Customer Service seminar, and also asked for another workshop on Time Management to improve planning and productivity. Their managers will also participate in intensive sections focused on Exceptional Management Skills, Team Building, and Leadership, providing them with a complete set of strategies, techniques and skills to hone their management styles and lead teams more effectively.
A Baker Senior Level Training Instructor and subject matter expert will travel to Cape Cod to meet with MacDougalls management group and deliver the workshop series. During the highly interactive Exceptional Management Skills, Leadership and Team Building training events, participants will learn the difference between a manager and a leader, and gain vital strategies and techniques for delegation, performance evaluation, motivating employees and handling conflict. These applied skills will lead to better planning, improved feedback, increased efficiency, less friction and more productive teams. In the Exceptional Customer Service workshop, participants will learn and practice using effective customer service techniques such as Active Listening and the Three Fs (Feel, Felt, Found) Model to quickly establish rapport with customers and facilitate effective problem-solving. Time Management workshop participants will learn ways to improve important time management skills such as organization, prioritizing, and tying activities to goals. These essential skills will help staff members recognize and eliminate time-wasting activities, enabling them to focus on goal-oriented tasks and increase their productivity.
