The American Bureau of Land Management has asked Baker Communications to provide Time Management training for its managers. The Bureau was seeking a trainer experienced in working with government entities and a follow-up program to ensure that new skills were implemented and reinforced. After meeting with Baker representatives, the BLM selected Baker‘s popular Time Management workshop, which includes a preparatory time audit assessment and post-program reinforcement via WebEx. The Bureau approved of the course content and was confident that the program would meet the training needs of their management groups.

A Senior-Level Instructor and Time Management Expert from Baker Communications will deliver the workshop to BLM managers. Workshop attendees will cover foundational time management techniques such as prioritizing, setting goals, and tying daily activities to their goals, helping them to better organize their time and more efficiently accomplish their most important tasks. Participants in this course will also discover time-leveraging tools such as Scheduling in Reverse and using the Urgent vs. Important Principle, which will help them correctly assess their time use, eliminate time-wasting activities, and increase their productivity.

The BLM's stated mission is to sustain the health, diversity and productivity of the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. The BLM is responsible for managing a large spectrum of natural resource values.
