Chesapeake Energy Corporation, a major producer of natural gas and the most active driller of new wells in the U.S., has chosen Baker Communications to provide Time Management training and Exceptional Presentations training to its employees. Following great success with employees who attended Bakers public Exceptional Presentations training workshops, Chesapeake licensed Bakers presentation training internally and also requested that Baker provide Time Management training to improve employee efficiency and productivity.
Senior-Level Instructors, Time Management and Presentations Experts from Baker Communications will travel to Oklahoma City to work with Chesapeake employees.
During the highly interactive Exceptional Presentations course, participants will gain experience using fundamental public speaking techniques, such as the Four Ps of vocal quality (Projection, Pauses, Pacing and Pitch) to control their speed and volume and keep their speeches lively and engaging. Video-recorded practice presentations and individual coaching will allow participants to gauge their own progress and find areas needing improvement.
Participants in the Time Management training event will learn how to use proven time management techniques such as Scheduling In Reverse, a simple but effective time-leveraging system that turns deadlines into success lines. Attendees will also take a Time Audit to help them discover and eliminate hidden time-wasters. They will learn organizational strategies such as prioritizing and tying activities to goals, helping them to maintain focus on goal-oriented tasks and increasing their productivity.
