Baker Communications has contracted with Morton Salt, America‘s largest salt producer, to provide custom Best Practices for Negotiating with Procurement training for its industrial sales group. Morton was seeking a training partner with the ability to customize a targeted, short-duration program to address its most immediate training needs. Baker developed the course content based on Morton‘s requests, including custom case studies and a focus on negotiations with purchasing departments. Morton Salt was pleased to find a client-oriented trainer who would go the extra mile to meet their training needs.

A Baker Senior Level Training Instructor ad Negotiations expert will travel to San Diego to deliver the training. Participants in this highly interactive negotiations training workshop will gain training and practice in techniques for negotiating with industrial procurement and purchasing departments. They will be trained on how to recognize and appropriately handle common negotiating tactics, and how to set expectations with a prepared Wish, Aspiration and Bottom Line. Participants will learn how to manage the RFP process and practice using clarifying and confirming questions to discover and define their customer‘s needs.
