NASA (the National Aeronautics and Space Administration) has requested Sexual Harassment Awareness training from Baker Communications for its managers. Baker has delivered on-site training for NASA previously, and the Administration has chosen to continue partnering with Baker for training in a new area. NASA is anxious to ensure that all its employees are able to work efficiently and comfortably in an equitable and non-hostile environment. In accordance with federal EEOC regulations, NASA is taking steps to engender management awareness and an organization-wide sensitivity to harassment issues. The goal of this training is to promote and maintain a productive work environment free of conduct which harasses, interferes with, or disrupts any employee‘s work performance, or which creates a hostile, offensive, or intimidating work environment. NASA intends to ensure that all employees are treated with respect.


A Senior-Level Instructor and Sexual Harassment Awareness Expert from Baker Communications will travel to Huntsville, Alabama to deliver the workshop. Participants will learn the legal definition of sexual harassment, how to recognize the different categories of harassment, and techniques for preventing it from occurring. Seminar attendees will have the opportunity to study situational scenarios and learn the best ways to respond, when and how to report incidents of harassment, and how to fulfill the employer‘s legal requirements.
