To ensure that all its employees are able to work efficiently and comfortably in an equitable and non-hostile environment, and in accordance with federal EEOC regulations, Patheon is taking steps to promote a company-wide sensitivity to harassment issues. The goal of this training is to promote and maintain a productive work environment free of conduct which harasses, interferes with, or disrupts any employee‘s work performance, or which creates a hostile, offensive, or intimidating work environment. Through this training, Patheon intends to ensure that all its employees are treated with respect.
A Senior-Level Instructor and Sexual Harassment Awareness Expert from Baker Communications will travel to Fairfax, Virginia to deliver the workshop. Participants will learn the legal definition of sexual harassment, how to recognize different categories of harassment, and techniques for preventing harassment from occurring. Participants will explore when and how to report incidents of harassment, and how best to fulfill their employer‘s legal requirements. Seminar attendees will also have the opportunity to study situational scenarios and learn the best ways to respond.
