CBS, the oldest name in news radio, is the new home for Baker President and CEO Walter Roger‘s popular Wednesday morning radio program focused on Sales Effectiveness and Transformation. The program previously aired on CNN News Radio.

"We are thrilled with this move," said Rogers. "Not only is CBS the pioneer of news radio, and one of the biggest recipients of awards for news in the history of broadcasting, but CBS, through its partnership with AOL radio, is the second largest provider of streaming content on the Internet -- second only to YouTube. This means it will be even easier to find and listen to our show online."

"We will continue to have the same line-up of highly respected industry leaders appearing as our guests and sharing the insights and best practices that have driven their success," he explained. "We‘ve had terrific guests sharing their insights, including the President of Sprint Commercial Business Group, and the Vice President of N.A. Sales for VMware, and we will continue to do so. Every week we will be discussing the critical issues that drive sales performance in these highly unpredictable market conditions."

The show will air its 30th episode this week and is scheduled to run at least through the end of this year. During the first 12 shows, the focus was on CRM Enablement. The next 12 shows were focused on best practices of Sales Management, and the current series is focused on best practices of Sales Professionals. The next series, starting this fall, will focus on Sales and Marketing Transformation. We are currently taking nominations for guests that series, if you are interested in nominating a guest please email anthony.iorio@bakercommunications.com.
