The Marine Forces Reserve (MFR or MARFORRES) has requested that Baker Communications design and deliver customized Exceptional Customer Service training for various military and civilian personnel at its primary headquarters in New Orleans. MARFORRES was seeking a training partner with experience in a military setting and a proven customer service training curriculum. They were impressed with Bakers experience, flexibility, and the content of their Exceptional Customer Service training course. The Reserve contracted with Baker in full confidence that the seminar will meet the needs of the Marine Forces Reserve.
An Exceptional Customer Service Training Expert and Senior Level Instructor with Baker Communications will travel to the Marine Corps Support Facility in New Orleans to present the training for various military and civilian personnel. During this highly interactive workshop, participants will gain practical experience using effective customer service and communication techniques, such as Active Listening, to quickly establish rapport with others and work toward finding solutions for their issues. Attendees of the customer service training workshop will also gain expertise in communicating with different personality types and handling angry individuals, allowing them to deal effectively with even the most difficult interpersonal situations.

About the Marine Forces Reserve
The Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES or MFR) (also known as the
United States Marine Corps Reserve (USMCR) and the U.S. Marine
Corps Forces Reserve) is the reserve force of the United States
Marine Corps. It is the largest command in the U.S. Marine
Corps.
Marine Forces Reserve is the headquarters command for
approximately 40,000 Reserve Marines and 187 Reserve Training
Centers located throughout the United States. The mission of
Marine Forces Reserve is to augment and reinforce active Marine
forces in time of war, national emergency or contingency
operations, provide personnel and operational tempo relief for
the active forces in peacetime, and provide service to the
community.
The United States Marine Corps Reserve was established when
Congress passed the Naval Appropriations Act of Aug. 29, 1916
and is responsible for providing trained units and qualified
individuals to be mobilized for active duty in time of war,
national emergency or contingency operations. Marine forces
Reserve also provides personnel and operational tempo relief for
active component forces in peacetime. Reserve Marines are
equipped and trained to the same standards as active Marine
forces.
