Safran Tunes Up with Baker Communications Training: Effective Communication and Listening Skills and Finance for Non-Financial Managers

Safran, a multinational aircraft and rocket engine, aerospace component, defense and security company, has asked Baker Communications to lead training for its employees on two disparate topics: Effective Communciation and Listening Skills, and Finance for Non-Financial Managers. Safran has partnered with BCI for various training needs over the past year and did not hesitate to return to the industry experts when new training needs became apparent.

Senior-Level Instructors and subject matter experts from Baker Communications will deliver the training seminars for Safran's staff members. These two specialized classes will help members of Safran's staff improve their communication and listening skills for both internal and external conversations, and help managers without financial backgrounds understand more about the company's finances and their own organizations' impact on the bottom line. During the Effective Communication and Listening Skills workshop, participants will learn how to listen actively rather than passively, and discover the importance of clarifying and confirming understanding before assuming that real communication has occurred. In the Finance for Non-Financial Managers class, managers and leaders will gain new insight into their company's functioning by learning to read financial statements and understand common finance terms.
