Presentation Training: Exceptional Visual Aids Workshop

We have all heard it a million times: a picture is worth more than a thousand words. Well, it happens to be true. The human brain responds instantly and powerfully to images in a way that words just can’t equal. That is why most presentations can benefit immensely from the judicious but effective use of visual aids.

For this reason, Baker Communications has created a special, two-hour Exceptional Visual Aids presentation training class. Our highly skilled presentation training instructors will coach you on the creation and use of all the standard forms of presentation visual aids, and show you how to use them effectively during the presentation itself. This intensive, hands on presentation training workshop also makes use of a series of digital video recording exercises so you can evaluate your use of visual aids during a presentation and refine your approach to achieve maximum impact.

Objectives:

Participants in the two-hour Exceptional Visual Aids presentation class will gain hands on practice and experience in:

• The difference between a good PowerPoint presentation and a mediocre one.

• How to design and integrate an interesting, eye-catching PowerPoint program into their presentation.

• How to avoid the most common distractions when using PowerPoint.

• When to avoid PowerPoint altogether and use another visual aid instead.

• How flip charting and old fashioned hand outs can be an even more effective presentation tool than PowerPoint.
